Tot' Delights
Project type
Brand design
Date
March 2025
Location
South Sudan
When I was approached to design the brand identity for Tot' Delights, I knew it had to be more than just pretty visuals — it had to carry heart, heritage, and a story worth remembering.
Tot’ Delights is a small bakery with big love behind it. The name Tot was given to honor the founder’s grandfather, a man from South Sudan, named during a time of war. That history, full of resilience, legacy, and warmth became the foundation for the entire brand story.
I designed a custom brand mark that combines a tree and a heart.
The heart represents the love poured into every single treat from cookies to cakes.
The tree symbolizes resilience, growth, and deep roots, a nod to the family legacy and the strength of where the brand comes from.
I wanted the identity to feel soft, welcoming, and full of meaning. So I chose a color palette dominated by baby pink, representing sweetness and warmth, with accents of brown and orange to ground the brand and add vibrance. The pink creates a playful, friendly vibe, while the brown connects to the earth heritage, tradition, and the orange brings a joyful pop of energy.

💬 Why It Mattered
What made this project special wasn’t just the end result — it was the story behind it. Designing for Tot’ Delights reminded me why I love brand design: because visuals can carry emotion, identity, and legacy. After the brand launch, the founder shared how confident and proud she felt showing up with a brand that finally reflected the heart behind her business. And honestly, that’s the best kind of feedback I could ask for.
